Youth Leadership & Civic Engagement Program
The Youth Leadership & Civic Engagement Program is an 8-session, in-person training designed to equip participants with civic knowledge, communication skills, and real-world community engagement experience.
Participants will complete eight structured sessions held Monday through Friday, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
Top performers of the cohort, recognized by Council Member Susan Zhuang for their contributions to civic engagement.

Completion Benefits
Upon successful completion, participants will receive:
- Certificate of Completion
- Verified volunteer hours
- Eligibility for potential paid civic engagement opportunities based on performance and interest
Performance Evaluation
Participants will be evaluated based on:
- Seven session assignments — 35%
- Participation — 15%
- Final Exam — 50%
A minimum score of 75% is required to pass.
Attendance Requirement
Attendance is mandatory. One review and makeup session will be held before the final exam.
